Anguilla is stepping up its efforts to attract high-value tourism business as the island strengthens relationships with international luxury travel advisers and tourism industry partners.
The Anguilla Tourist Board used the 2026 Virtuoso Travel Week to deepen connections with leading luxury travel professionals, reinforcing the island’s position in the global luxury travel market. The event also brought international recognition for Anguilla as a premium Caribbean destination.
The initiative is important for local businesses because stronger relationships with international travel advisers can help generate demand for luxury resorts, villas, restaurants, transportation providers and other tourism-related services.
Anguilla’s tourism economy remains a major source of business activity, while the government is also pursuing projects intended to create new economic opportunities. Recent initiatives include plans for redevelopment in The Valley and continued investment linked to the island’s tourism infrastructure.
For Anguilla’s business community, expanding its luxury tourism network could help attract higher-value visitors and support wider private-sector growth.
