BRADES, Montserrat — Montserrat is putting trade, investment and infrastructure development at the centre of its September business agenda through a dedicated Trade & Infrastructure Investment Month.

The initiative is bringing attention to opportunities involving private investment, trade partnerships, infrastructure projects, the creative economy and strategic cooperation with the United Kingdom.

A related Caribbean Trade & Infrastructure Investment Forum held on September 9 highlighted investment opportunities, potential joint ventures and access to new markets for businesses operating across the region.

The investment focus comes as Montserrat continues efforts to expand its private-sector economy and attract capital into areas including tourism, infrastructure, business services and creative industries.

The island’s investment agency also identifies tourism, hotels, resorts, eco-tourism and creative industries as areas with development potential.

For local entrepreneurs, investors and businesses, September’s programme provides a platform to explore new partnerships, financing opportunities and international market connections while keeping Montserrat’s economic development agenda in the regional spotlight.
