The Democratic Party of the Virgin Islands (DPVI) has completed the organization of its 2026–2028 Territorial Committee, formally seating newly elected and certified members for the new term.

The development comes as political activity continues to build across the U.S. Virgin Islands ahead of the 2026 election cycle. The newly organized committee will serve as the party’s governing body for the next two years.

The party’s organizational update is among the latest political developments in the territory, where candidates, political organizations and community groups are preparing for the upcoming election season.

The DPVI’s new committee structure provides the party with its formal leadership framework for the 2026–2028 term, while political activity continues across St. Thomas, St. John and St. Croix.

The latest development adds to a growing series of USVI election and political organization activities as the territory moves through the 2026 electoral calendar.
