WILLEMSTAD, Curaçao — Curaçao is expanding government support for local entrepreneurs through Mi NEGOSHI Shared & Support Services, following its full integration into the Ministry of Economic Development earlier this year.

During the first eight months of 2026, the programme provided entrepreneurs with business coaching, training, webinars, specialised sessions and guidance designed to help companies address challenges and strengthen their operations.

The Ministry of Economic Development says the integration is intended to bring different forms of entrepreneurial assistance together, including training, information, coaching and connections with organisations within Curaçao's business ecosystem.

The programme is particularly focused on micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs), giving entrepreneurs access to practical assistance as they develop their businesses.

Economic Development Minister Roderick Middelhof said the objective is to make support more accessible and help businesses before they encounter major difficulties.

The initiative adds another layer of support for Curaçao entrepreneurs and small businesses, as the island continues efforts to strengthen its local business environment.
