ROSEAU, Dominica — Dominica's push to develop a new generation of technology talent is gaining momentum through the 2026 Summer Tech Bootcamp, held under the theme “CodeQuest: Build, Create and Innovate.”

The initiative places a strong focus on coding, creativity, digital problem-solving and technology innovation, giving young participants opportunities to explore skills that are becoming increasingly important in education and the modern workforce.

The programme comes as Dominica continues its wider digital transformation agenda, which includes investment in resilient digital infrastructure, high-speed connectivity, digital government services and technology skills development.

For young people, programmes centred on coding and innovation could help create pathways into careers in software development, cybersecurity, digital entrepreneurship, artificial intelligence and other emerging technology sectors.

Dominica's broader Caribbean Digital Transformation Project is designed to expand access to digital services, technologies and skills while strengthening the country's technology infrastructure and resilience.
