Anguilla is moving forward with a five-year national digital transformation roadmap designed to accelerate technology adoption across government and the wider economy.

The plan is focused on strengthening Anguilla’s digital economy, modernising government services and improving data management, while also developing a practical national strategy for artificial intelligence.

The roadmap comes as governments and businesses globally increase their use of AI, cloud services and digital platforms. For Anguilla, the strategy could help create a more coordinated approach to technology investment and digital public services.

The government has also identified data and cybersecurity infrastructure as important areas for investment. Its 2026 estimates include measures to strengthen government data centres, cybersecurity systems and network capacity.

A stronger digital framework could benefit local businesses by improving online government services, supporting digital entrepreneurship and creating opportunities for technology professionals.

The national AI agenda could become one of the most significant elements of Anguilla’s technology strategy, particularly as artificial intelligence becomes increasingly important across tourism, finance, healthcare and public administration.

The roadmap therefore represents a broader shift toward building a more digitally connected Anguilla and preparing the territory for the next phase of technology-driven economic development.
