Tobago’s new East Terminal at A.N.R. Robinson International Airport begins flight operations on Wednesday, October 14, marking a major development in the island’s aviation infrastructure.

The Airports Authority of Trinidad and Tobago confirmed the operational change following the terminal’s official opening on Tuesday. The new facility is part of ongoing efforts to modernise the country’s airport infrastructure and improve the passenger experience.

Caribbean Airlines has confirmed that all its flights arriving in and departing from Tobago will use the new East Terminal from 5:45 a.m. today. Passengers are being directed to the terminal on Store Bay Local Road for arrivals, departures, check-in and ticketing services.

Airport users have also been advised to enter the airport compound through the roundabout on Store Bay Local Road. Travellers departing on domestic flights between Tobago and Trinidad should note that the standard 3-1-1 rule for liquids in hand luggage applies at the new terminal, with individual containers limited to 100 millilitres.

The new terminal is expected to provide a foundation for expanded air connectivity and tourism growth. Its opening comes as Tobago looks to attract more visitors, support local businesses and strengthen its position as a Caribbean tourism destination.

Passengers travelling today should check their flight details and proceed directly to the new East Terminal to avoid confusion during the transition.
