SAN FERNANDO, Trinidad and Tobago — Defending champions Naparima College made a powerful start to their 2026 Secondary Schools Football League (SSFL) Premiership Division campaign, defeating Trinity College Moka 7–0 on September 19.
Teenage forward Adasa Richardson was the standout performer, scoring a hat-trick as Naparima launched its title defence at Lewis Street, San Fernando.
Naparima entered the Premiership competition after receiving a first-round bye, although the champions had already impressed in the SSFL Super Cup, where they defeated St Benedict’s College 6–0 on September 11.
The opening victory puts Naparima among the early teams attracting attention as the 2026 Trinidad and Tobago school football season gets underway.
With more Premiership matches ahead, supporters will be watching whether the defending champions can maintain their strong start and remain in contention for another SSFL title.
