Haiti’s women’s national football team, the Grenadières, is preparing for two major international friendly matches in France this October, with Japan and Australia scheduled as opponents.

The first test will see Haiti face Japan on October 9, 2026, at Stade Bauer in Saint-Ouen. Four days later, on October 13, the Grenadières will meet Australia at Stade Walter-Luzi in Chambly. The fixtures are part of the teams’ international preparation programme.

The matches will give Haiti an opportunity to continue building its squad through competition against two established international teams. Haiti’s upcoming fixtures also come as the national side continues its preparations for future international competitions.

The Japan Football Association has confirmed its women’s team schedule for the October window, with Haiti first and Germany later in the same international period.

For Haitian football supporters, the two matches provide high-profile international tests for the Grenadières and an opportunity to follow the team against strong opposition in Europe.
