Government officials, national sports federations, coaches, sports scientists, medical specialists, and educational institutions announced investments in biomechanics laboratories, AI-powered performance analytics, recovery and rehabilitation facilities, nutrition centres, and youth talent identification programmes.

Officials emphasized that investing in modern sports infrastructure will strengthen athlete development, encourage youth participation, and increase Guadeloupe's competitiveness at regional and international sporting events.

The centre will support athletes competing in athletics, football, basketball, swimming, volleyball, cycling, martial arts, and other Olympic disciplines through individualized training plans, injury prevention programmes, mental performance coaching, and scientific fitness evaluation.

Sports scientists welcomed the initiative, highlighting wearable performance technology, motion analysis systems, reaction testing, and personalized data-driven coaching designed to maximize athletic performance.
