Air Caraïbes is expanding travel options across the French Caribbean, creating new connecting opportunities for passengers travelling from Martinique to Sint Maarten through its regional network.
The airline announced that, from January 8, 2027, it will operate a daily flight between Pointe-à-Pitre in Guadeloupe and Princess Juliana International Airport in Sint Maarten. The service will use an ATR 72-600 aircraft and is designed to improve inter-island travel and connections to international destinations.
For travellers departing from Fort-de-France, the expanded network will offer additional connection options via Guadeloupe. Air Caraïbes has advertised return fares from Martinique to Sint Maarten starting at €249, subject to availability and booking conditions. The new daily service is between Guadeloupe and Sint Maarten, rather than a new direct daily flight from Martinique.
The airline says improved schedules will help passengers connect with regional services and international routes, including flights to Paris. The development could also support business travel, family visits, tourism and commercial exchanges between the islands.
Stronger air links are important for Martinique’s tourism and service industries, where transport connections can influence visitor movement, business partnerships and access to neighbouring markets.
The expanded regional network gives Martinique travellers more options for reaching Sint Maarten and connecting beyond the Caribbean, with the new daily service scheduled to begin in January 2027.
