A 20-year-old Vincentian technologist has launched YouthLink SVG, a locally developed digital platform designed to make it easier for young people to find jobs, scholarships, internships and other opportunities.

Founded by Noah Horne, the platform officially launched to the public on September 17, 2026. It brings opportunities from different organisations together in one online location, addressing the challenge of information being spread across multiple websites and social media platforms.

YouthLink SVG currently features more than 70 approved opportunities, covering areas including training programmes, grants, competitions, volunteer opportunities and employment.

Horne developed the platform after experiencing the difficulty of finding opportunities while studying and later entering the job market. The project represents a growing example of locally developed digital technology being used to address a practical community need in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.
