ROBINS BAY, St Mary, Jamaica — A rural community in St Mary is mourning after three men were killed in a shooting at Robins Bay, triggering a police investigation.

The victims have been identified as 22-year-old Sazaree Clarke, 60-year-old bar owner Marlon James and 42-year-old mason Peter John Fagan, according to reports from The Gleaner.

Police said the shooting occurred at approximately 4:40 p.m. when gunmen travelling in a motor vehicle entered a bar and opened fire on people inside. A third victim was reportedly shot outside the establishment as the attackers fled.

The three injured men were taken to hospital but were later pronounced dead. The attackers remain at large, and members of the Major Investigation Division are handling the case.

The killings have left residents shocked, with relatives describing the victims as peaceful members of the community. The incident has renewed concerns about gun violence and public safety in rural Jamaica.

Police have not announced any arrests in connection with the attack.
