ST. GEORGE’S, Grenada — Grenada’s entertainment scene has reached another major milestone with the conclusion of Spicemas 2026, bringing the island’s annual carnival celebrations to a high-energy finish.

Carnival Monday and Tuesday took place on August 10 and 11, following weeks of music, fetes, costume presentations and cultural activities across Grenada.

Spicemas once again placed Grenadian music, mas and Caribbean entertainment at the centre of the regional spotlight.

The carnival featured a wide range of music and entertainment, with local soca artists and bands providing the soundtrack for celebrations.

The official Spicemas programme highlights the importance of live music, colourful costumes and performances by local artists and dance groups to the carnival experience.

Music listings for the 2026 celebration included Grenadian artists such as V'ghn, Mr. Killa, Shireen B and other local performers, reflecting the strength of the island’s soca and carnival music scene.

The event also provided an important platform for Grenadian entertainers, DJs, mas bands and creative businesses.

Beyond the street celebrations, Spicemas continues to strengthen Grenada’s reputation as a destination for Caribbean culture, music and festival tourism.
