Government officials, universities, technology companies, software developers, cybersecurity specialists, financial institutions, startup founders, and regional innovation partners announced collaborative programmes supporting artificial intelligence research, cloud computing, fintech development, robotics, software engineering, blockchain applications, and digital entrepreneurship.
Officials emphasized that investing in advanced technology is essential for creating future-ready employment, strengthening economic competitiveness, and positioning Saint Vincent and the Grenadines as an emerging Caribbean innovation destination.
The campus features AI research laboratories, cybersecurity operations centres, cloud computing infrastructure, startup incubation programmes, software engineering workspaces, innovation accelerators, digital fabrication laboratories, and collaborative research facilities connecting local innovators with international technology partners.
Technology experts welcomed the initiative, explaining that AI-powered solutions, secure cloud platforms, and advanced cybersecurity capabilities will strengthen finance, tourism, healthcare, education, logistics, and public administration.
