Belize’s entertainment calendar is set for a new addition as promoters prepare to stage Bacchanal Flag Fest, a new music and cultural event designed to bring Caribbean soca energy to the country’s September Celebrations.

The event is scheduled for September 10 at Grand Resort, running from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m., with Grenadian soca artist V’ghn set to headline the celebration.

Organized by Mars Productions, the event is being positioned as a dedicated flag fete, drawing inspiration from Carnival celebrations across the Caribbean. Attendees are encouraged to bring flags and celebrate Belize’s regional cultural connections.

V’ghn will be joined by Belizean DJs including DJ Jago, DJ Console, DJ Clarks & Smurf, DJ Dev, Fyah Statah and DJ Junie Slaughtah, while DJ Jel is also part of the entertainment lineup.

The event is expected to combine soca music, dancing, Caribbean culture and national pride, giving Belizeans another entertainment option during the busy September Celebrations period.

Organizers say presale tickets are available for $50, while limited cocktail tables remain available. The event will also be followed by a separate after-party.

With an international soca performer, local DJs and a strong Caribbean theme, Bacchanal Flag Fest is emerging as one of the newest entertainment events on Belize’s September calendar.
