BRADES, Montserrat — Montserrat’s national football team is preparing for the start of the 2026/27 Concacaf Nations League, with two League C Group A matches scheduled during the September window.
The Emerald Boys will open their campaign against the Turks and Caicos Islands on September 23 at the TCIFA National Academy in Providenciales. Three days later, Montserrat will face the British Virgin Islands at the same venue.
Montserrat has been drawn into League C Group A alongside Turks and Caicos Islands and the British Virgin Islands. The teams will meet during the September-October and November international windows.
The competition carries additional importance because the 2026/27 Nations League is part of the qualification pathway for the 2027 Concacaf Gold Cup.
The Montserrat Football Association has also been strengthening its national-team structure, including the appointment of Dr. Gabriel Calderón Pellegrino as technical consultant and head coach of the senior men's national team earlier this year.
With the opening fixture approaching, attention is now turning to Montserrat’s squad, preparation and performances as the Emerald Boys begin their latest regional campaign.
