BRADES, Montserrat — Montserrat’s senior men’s football team entered its final 2026–27 Concacaf Nations League Group A match with momentum firmly on its side after producing three consecutive victories.

The Emerald Boys faced the Turks and Caicos Islands on October 6 at the TCIFA National Academy in Providenciales, looking to complete a perfect group-stage campaign.

Montserrat had already collected nine points from three matches, scoring seven goals without conceding. The impressive run included victories over Turks and Caicos Islands and two wins against the British Virgin Islands.

Head coach Gabriel Calderón has placed particular emphasis on mental strength, confidence and teamwork as Montserrat seeks to maintain its outstanding form.

The campaign has also highlighted the contribution of Brandon Barzey, who scored in both victories over the British Virgin Islands, while the team's defensive record has remained perfect through the opening three matches.

The result of the final match could prove important for Montserrat's ambitions in League C, where group winners and the best second-placed team advance to the League C Championship and earn promotion opportunities to League B.

For the Emerald Boys, the latest campaign represents a major opportunity to build on their resurgence and put Montserrat football back in the regional spotlight.
