POINTE MICHEL, Dominica — The Commonwealth of Dominica Police Force (CDPF) is taking its community policing efforts to Pointe Michel as residents are invited to participate in a dedicated meeting focused on local safety and police-community relations.
The meeting, scheduled for September 23, 2026, is part of the police force's continuing efforts to engage communities directly and strengthen communication with residents.
Community policing meetings provide an opportunity for residents to raise concerns, share information and discuss issues affecting public safety, crime prevention and neighbourhood security.
The Pointe Michel engagement comes as authorities continue to place greater attention on cooperation between law enforcement and communities across Dominica.
For residents, the meeting provides a direct channel to discuss local security concerns with police representatives and learn more about community-based policing initiatives.
The latest engagement also highlights the role of community participation in crime prevention, particularly as police seek stronger relationships with residents throughout the island.
