ROSEAU, Dominica — Dominica has officially introduced the Green Enterprise Growth Fund, a national initiative aimed at accelerating business innovation, supporting entrepreneurs, and encouraging sustainable economic development across the island.
Government officials, financial institutions, business organizations, renewable energy companies, technology startups, agricultural enterprises, and regional investment partners announced collaborative programmes supporting green industries, digital commerce, sustainable tourism, climate-smart agriculture, and business modernization.
Officials emphasized that strengthening local entrepreneurship and sustainable investment is essential for creating employment, diversifying the economy, and improving long-term economic resilience.
The fund will provide startup financing, innovation grants, business mentoring, digital transformation support, export readiness programmes, renewable energy incentives, smart manufacturing assistance, and financing opportunities for environmentally responsible enterprises.
