BAIE-MAHAULT, Guadeloupe — Canadian cyclist Owen Cole has won the 75th Tour Cycliste International de la Guadeloupe, bringing the territory's landmark 2026 cycling competition to a dramatic conclusion.

Cole successfully protected the yellow jersey through the final stage, completing his run as overall champion of the prestigious Caribbean cycling event.

The final stage finished in Baie-Mahault, where Austrian rider Kilian Feurstein of Team Vorarlberg claimed the stage victory after a sprint finish.

Cole's overall victory caps a demanding 10-stage competition across Guadeloupe, featuring international teams and a total route of more than 1,200 kilometres.

The 75th edition attracted a strong international field while giving Guadeloupe's cycling community another major opportunity to showcase the sport and the territory's challenging roads.

The competition also marked a significant moment for veteran local riders, with Boris Carène and Adrien Alidor completing what was reported as their 17th and final Tour.

For Guadeloupe, the conclusion of the anniversary edition reinforces the Tour's status as one of the Caribbean's most important cycling events.

The 2026 race once again combined elite international competition with huge local interest, bringing riders through communities across Grande-Terre and Basse-Terre.
