KINGSTON, Jamaica — Jamaica has unveiled a National Smart Transport Corridor Programme aimed at modernizing the country's transportation infrastructure through intelligent traffic systems, digital mobility technologies, and resilient road improvements.

Government officials, transportation authorities, engineers, urban planners, and technology partners announced investments in AI-powered traffic monitoring, smart traffic signals, intelligent public transport systems, electric vehicle infrastructure, digital road management platforms, and advanced highway safety technologies.
