The Bermuda Government is taking its digital finance strategy to an international audience as Premier and Finance Minister David Burt leads a delegation to the 2026 SALT Wyoming Blockchain Symposium.

The event, running from August 17 to 20, brings together leaders and stakeholders from the digital-asset and financial-services sectors. The Bermuda delegation includes representatives from the Ministry of Finance and Bermuda Monetary Authority, with support from the Bermuda Government Office in Washington, D.C.

Premier Burt is scheduled to participate in a fireside panel titled “Social Impact Through Digital Finance,” putting Bermuda’s approach to financial technology and digital assets in the international spotlight.

The government’s participation highlights Bermuda’s continued effort to develop its reputation as a globally connected financial centre, while exploring how emerging technologies can contribute to economic and social development.

The delegation’s presence also provides an opportunity to promote Bermuda’s regulatory and financial-services environment to international investors and technology companies.

Digital finance is becoming an increasingly important part of Bermuda’s economic strategy, and the government’s participation at SALT signals its intention to remain active in discussions shaping the future of blockchain and financial innovation.
