Bermuda’s month-long celebration of local creativity is heading toward its finale, with an evening of art, live music and interactive experiences scheduled for Friday, October 30, at Masterworks Museum of Bermuda Art.
The event, titled “The Final Frame: Bermuda Art Month Closing Celebration,” will run from 4:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. and is complimentary and open to the public. It marks the closing stage of Bermuda Art Month, which has brought more than 100 artistic and cultural experiences to venues across the island during October.
Visitors can look forward to a special tour of the museum’s Permanent Collection vault, an interactive art experience with Bermudian artist Nahshon Hollis, and the unveiling of paintings created by local artists throughout the month. Music by DJ Kori Minors, along with curated cocktails and mocktails, will add to the evening’s atmosphere.
The wider Art Month programme has taken art beyond traditional galleries, with activities in hotels, restaurants, public spaces and even caves. The initiative has brought artists, museums, tourism partners, residents and visitors together to celebrate Bermuda’s creative community.
Organised with support from the Bermuda Tourism Authority and local cultural partners, the programme has helped showcase the island’s artists while encouraging audiences to explore new venues and experiences.
The October 30 finale offers residents and visitors a free opportunity to celebrate Bermuda’s art scene and discover the work created during the month. Art Month continues through October 31, with full event details available through Go To Bermuda.
