Anguilla is preparing for a significant boost in international connectivity after BermudAir announced expanded winter air service to the island from the United States and Canada.

The expanded schedule will bring new weekly service from Toronto Pearson International Airport, beginning December 19, 2026, with flights operating through Providenciales. The Toronto service is scheduled to continue through May 1, 2027.

Additional U.S. connectivity is also planned, with increased service from Boston, Newark and the Baltimore-Washington area, while new service involving Tampa/St. Petersburg will further expand access to Anguilla.

The expansion is being welcomed as an important development for the island's tourism industry and international accessibility. More flight options could make it easier for visitors from major North American markets to reach Anguilla during the busy winter travel season.

Officials have also linked improved air connectivity with broader economic opportunities for the territory, including tourism, hospitality and related businesses.

The new routes could give Anguilla an important boost heading into the 2026–27 winter season, strengthening links with key North American markets and supporting the island's position as a premium Caribbean destination.
