Soca superstar Machel Montano has added an environmental message to his recent Belize appearance, connecting Caribbean entertainment with the Save Soil movement.
Montano visited Belize and participated in a tree-planting activity alongside Prime Minister John Briceño. During the visit, the Trinidad and Tobago music star promoted healthier soils, tree planting and environmental awareness, while Belize continues its goal of planting one million trees across the country.
The appearance gives Belize’s entertainment scene a regional dimension, with Montano using his influence beyond music to engage younger audiences on environmental issues. His visit also highlighted the growing connection between Caribbean music, culture and social causes.
The initiative comes as Belize continues to showcase local and regional artists during its 45th Independence celebrations, creating additional opportunities for music personalities to participate in cultural and community activities.
