Officials stated that investing in world-class sports infrastructure will create stronger athlete development pathways while increasing the country's competitiveness at regional and global sporting events.

The centre supports athletics, baseball, football, basketball, volleyball, swimming, cycling, taekwondo, and other Olympic disciplines through personalized training plans, injury prevention programmes, sports psychology services, and digital performance assessments.

Sports scientists welcomed the initiative, explaining that wearable technology, motion analysis systems, reaction testing, and AI-assisted coaching provide athletes with real-time performance insights while reducing injury risks.
