WILLEMSTAD, Curaçao — Curaçao is preparing to strengthen its commercial ties with the United States through a new international trade and investment mission scheduled for October 2026.

The initiative is designed to connect American business leaders with Curaçao entrepreneurs, investors, buyers and government representatives, creating opportunities for new partnerships and investment projects.

The mission is expected to focus on sectors with significant growth potential, including construction, infrastructure, technology, energy, water, environmental services, tourism, manufacturing and professional services.

Business matchmaking sessions, bilateral opportunity forums and executive meetings are planned as part of the programme.

For Curaçao companies, greater exposure to U.S. investors could create opportunities to expand exports, attract capital and develop new regional partnerships.

The initiative also supports Curaçao's broader push to diversify its economy and strengthen its position as a Caribbean business hub.

The trade mission comes as the island continues pursuing stronger international economic relationships and developing strategies aimed at increasing trade and investment.

For American companies, Curaçao offers access to a multilingual Caribbean market with connections to the wider Dutch Caribbean and Latin American region.

The October initiative could therefore become an important platform for Curaçao businesses seeking international capital, customers and strategic partners.

Further business meetings and investment discussions are expected as preparations for the mission continue.
