GEORGE TOWN, Cayman Islands — Cayman Airways is expanding its Grand Cayman-La Ceiba service after strong demand prompted the national carrier to add more flights during the summer travel period.

The airline has added four Friday flights between August 21 and September 11, supplementing its regular Wednesday service between Grand Cayman and La Ceiba, Honduras.

The expansion strengthens air connectivity between the Cayman Islands and Central America while giving travellers additional options during the busy summer period.

The additional service follows earlier Friday flights introduced in July and August, which also responded to passenger demand.
